Overview
In addition to the obligations of the Board as set forth in the Connecticut State Statutes and in the Danbury charter, the purpose of the Board of Directors shall be:
To determine and formulate policy of the Library; To promote the library program in the community; To work to secure adequate funds to carry on the library's work satisfactorily; To deal with suggestions, complaints, or petitions which are presented to it in writing by members of the public; To receive and disburse funds from the statewide borrowing program known as "Connecticard".
