Travel Vaccines

Before traveling abroad, a travel assessment by the Danbury Health Department can provide information to help you identify the best way to protect and prevent travel-related illnesses. The non-routine vaccines listed below are available and are recommended based on your travel destination. If you are interested in receiving any of the vaccines listed below, please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Appointments should be scheduled up to 4 to 6 weeks before your trip as most vaccines take time to become effective in your body and may be given in a series. If it is less than 4 weeks before your departure, please contact us as you may still benefit from shots, medications, or other information that can protect you from travel-related illness or injury.
