Commission for Persons with Disabilities
Our role as commissioners is to advise and make the Mayor aware of disability issues that need to be addressed in the community.
Commission on Aging
The Commission is available to study the needs and to coordinate programs for the aging.
The Cultural Commission supports and helps fund performing arts programs for Danbury residents free of charge.
Danbury Council of Veterans
The Council is responsible for making arrangements for and conducting all Veterans Memorial ceremonies in Danbury.

This commission is in charge of maintaining and revitalizing historic sites in Danbury

Preserving, protecting, and educating Danbury’s friends, neighbors, and visitors about the heritage and history of our community.
Library Board of Directors
The board is in charge of maintaining and promote the library program of Danbury.
Local Emergency Planning Committee
The Title III Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA) requires emergency planning districts to establish a local emergency planning committee (LEPC).
