Commission for Persons with Disabilities
Our role as commissioners is to advise and make the Mayor aware of disability issues that need to be addressed in the community.

The Commission is available to study the needs and to coordinate programs for the aging.

The Cultural Commission supports and helps fund performing arts programs for Danbury residents free of charge.

The board is in charge of maintaining and promote the library program of Danbury.

Local Emergency Planning Committee
The Title III Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA) requires emergency planning districts to establish a local emergency planning committee (LEPC).
